Wear and Care of Our Products

The viscose and metallic threads I use for my embroidery are of the very best quality and are resistant to fading.

LAVENDER Bags need to be squeezed gently to refresh the fragrance, they will last for many years.

CUSHIONS for seating and CLOTHING should follow the labels inside for cleaning guidance.

Washable GARMENTS should be turned reverse side out for gentle 30 degree machine wash, dry naturally and gently iron with medium steam iron on the wrong side of motif to gently to re-educate the embroidery to lie flat again.

With appropriate care, my customers tell me that my embroidery lasts better than the garments they are embroidered on!

However beware that embroidery can be damaged by pet claws and sharp objects and also hooks on clothing and lingerie items, especially when being laundered.

Avoid contact with bleach and making folds across the embroidery.

I love to see my customers wearing their classic well loved items, so pleased that they get many years of wear.

SLEEVE SHORTENING, some of the garments we supply are unisex sizes and if you normally find the sleeves need shortening for an improved fit , please guide us on the new length required and I can shorten them for you. There is no extra charge for this but…..Please note that by doing this, the item is customised for you and cannot be returned for refund as per T&C

SLEEVE SHORTENING advice for customised orders.

Choose a garment you already have of a similar style and fit where you are happy with the sleeve length.

Lay it out flat with the arms outstretched.

Measure X cm from the centre back of the neck (usually the centre of the label) to the very end of the sleeve and arm cuffs.

Enter this length X cm , into the custom form.

Please read the T&C regarding returns on customised items.
